If it's in very good running condition and you love it, then it's worth it. From what I have learned from the people on the Vintage Machine thread, a lot of the vintage machines made in Japan are very good machines and sew really well. I personally would love to have a turquoise machine. But maybe the place where it is will come down in price for you. Most vintage machines are not worth much, depending on the brand and condition. Again, like Caroloto said, visit the Vintage part of the board, and they will give you a more education opinion.
