If you're doing a lot of pieces at once, clip a clothes pin or something similar to the first one and as you do the rest, the weight of it will fall to the floor so you don't get a 'spaghetti' pile at the back of your machine
(Wouldn't advise this if you have a playful cat or dog.........................)
