BP maybe got that part right.
i know people have a real sentimental attachment to their Jane quilts but its never been that way for me.

Jane is so well known in this area, its the birth place of the "Janiacs", and you can't go to a quilt show without seeing one, a guild having a raffle with one. etc - its just not special - everyone has one.

one of the guilds i'm in make a Jane quilt every year, so for me its like making a log cabin or a lone star (although harder) - it just another quilt pattern.
