Default 2 more finishes from my tops made from my 2.5" "blah" blocks

These are the two that my 15-year-old son said "They mess with my mind, mom". He assured me now that they are quilted, they don't do that anymore as we can't see the lines that show that the squares are actually "on point".

First I will post the tops and then the finished quilt. I finished these both yesterday. I'm working on improving my FMQ...have plenty to work on but I do see progress since I first started last summer.

Gotta keep working on those wavy borders. I quilted them each differently with the top one using straight line right through the colored blocks and then kind of stippled the outer area. The bottom one was just meandering stippling--kind of large.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with how they turned out.

I do have to use poly batting since that is what is available here in Poland. I may have more success on the borders if I switched to really thin batting.
