Oh my, that's a lovely fabric and a great pattern for it!
I think you could do just about anything for the border -- pick up any of the colors, and go narrow or wide. The first thing that leaps to my mind would be a narrow inner strip of the dark purple and then a wider border of mid green or blue. But you could also use one of the rose/burgundy colors.
