The one quilt fabric set I bought because I had to have it was George Mendoza's Wise Tree. I love most all his designs -- bright clear colors. That said, much as I love brights and big wacky prints, sometimes I'll see softer colors and mini prints that appeal to me. Last quilt was for a traditional-minded person so I used mostly traditional calico-type fabrics with small prints and quieter colors. I guess it all depends on my mood and what my eyes want on a given day
