Hi Folks- I've been reading along but haven't had much to say for a while. For some reason, no new machines have crossed my path untill today ( Wait a minute. I haven't seen Mizkaki in three weeks, I haven't had a new machine in three weeks....coincidence?
) Annnyhoo I picked up a GREEN Necchi BU and it is clearly wired wrong. It came in a cabinet, with a knee control that had burn marks. And horrible, crumbling wiring. No problem, I'd rather have a foot control. So, I find a spare foot control and wire that to the place where the knee control was wired. So far, so good. I plug it in. It takes off, full speed. I didn't change the wiring that went to the power- it looked like it had been redone lately, as it was brown instead of green. So, either I did something to the machine when I changed the knee to a foot control, or whoever re-wired it did something to the machine, and that's why. Anyone got any ideas? Laura
