This is very timely. I've been clenching my $50 Joanns gift card and waiting for a sale on the Oliso iron. They are supposed to be 30% off, which makes this purchase a little easier to swallow--but I am now re-thinking it. I'm still going to pay almost $100 for an iron that might leak. My BD is working fine. Maybe I will better spend my dollars on a binding machine by Simplicity. Also on sale.
My friend had 3 of these irons, kept sending them back and finally got her money back from the company. She bought it at a quilt show direct from the vendor. The feet kept failing and it burned up her ironing board.
