I have sewn with my Brother 1500 for almost 10 years now and she has given me not one bit of trouble!!!! I was looking for a second machine and the Brother dealer told me they have gone to useing a lot of plastic in their machines and the Baby Lock ''Jane'', is the same machine with the old style heavey duty parts.....bought one and he was right.....it is the same machine....sews the same, FMQ's like a dream too!!
