I went to see her at Texas Association of Quilt Guilds in Mesquite, TX last year. She was the featured speaker and brought her husband along to help. She showed some of the most beautiful quilts and I just had to buy one of her books to do a quilt I fell in love with called "Pieces of Baltimore". I probably never would have started if I had known some of the blocks have from 147 to 500 pieces to an 18" block! However, I finished the first one of 147 pieces and was hooked!!! They are beautiful blocks, easy to piece, easy cut out, etc. It's like putting a puzzle together a section at a time. I have since bought another one of her books - would love to have them all.
