don't forget route 66 that is a classic, yosemite, palm trees, i like the golden gate bridge and hollywood idea, redwoods in california is beautiful, used to live up there in beautiful humboldt county surrounded by the redwood forest. There are beautiful beaches. grffith observatory with ss looking at the stars would be nice
