Just received a beauty which I won on eBay. It came in a nice (though not pristine) case and included the manual, several attachments and a couple extra bobbins. The case has a musty odor to it, so it's sitting open out in the garage for the time being. Also, I had to order a bobbin case for her and I'm still waiting on that. In the meantime, I plugged her in (right away) to test the foot pedal and light. She hummed away perfectly and I was so tickled, I did a happy dance around the room.
Her serial number is AK994786 which, oddly enough, isn't included in ISMACS serial number database, but I figure she must have been produced in August of 1952.
