Loved Home Ec. 1970-1973! Wish they would bring it back. I know many of you young ladies and gentlemen know how to cook and sew, but I feel, the newer generation isn't being taught basic skills for survival . In my experience's they wait until someone will do it for them or go buy fast food. Many would say what's wrong with that! I have had girls in their 20's visit my home that don't know how to peal a potato and cook it. Recently one was amazed you could wash, poke holes and cook one in the microwave. I taught my sons enough about cooking that they have become the main cook in their home. Cooking, sewing and even cleaning can be very rewarding in my opinion!
