That's a really good suggestion, Linda, thanks! I fall out of the ditch a lot of times when doing a straight stitch so if I were doing a decorative stitch it wouldn't be noticeable.
Do you wash your quilts after doing SITD? My SITD was not very good, and a friend told me to wash it. That made all the difference in the world.
