BRT: Sorry to hear about the dropouts but it is so nice of them to let you know now instead of at the end.
When you get a chance how about listing the blocks that got dropped so maybe someone else will pick them up?
Other ideas should be posted also. It's been so long since I've been near a farm I can't think of a thing.

Hint: cut your blocks 12 3/4 or 13" so when you are done all that appliqueing your block won't be short. You can trim them after they are done.
I think I'll stick with my 24 but there's lots of time left.
