Hi fellow Quilters! I use a wooden lazy susan with a smaller rotary cutting mat! I have had no trouble with it slipping or sinking!
If your mat sinks (due to a rime on the lazy susan) you can build it up with a layer or two of batting or felt. I didn't have to do this as mine didn't have a deep ring!
