I am very excited to share the block I received from Kimberly (buddysmom) - it is so lovely -- really made my day when it arrived yesterday! My hubby laughed at the happy dance I was doing on the way back from the mail box.

My boys are on the mend, still coughing, but no more fevers, thank goodness. I'm slowly starting to feel better, too, so now it's time to get my block for Kimberly done and sent out - hope to complete it in the next few days and have it in the mail (Saturday is my personal deadline to have it sent out). Kimberly - I'll PM you when it is sent, so you know to be on the lookout.

The photo doesn't do the block justice - the flash washes it out a bit - the colors, while still being pastel, are bright and crisp. I love it!

Thanks, Kimberly, you did a great job - I just hope you like the block I'll be sending you (I'm still a beginner, and so unsure of myself as to fabric and block choices - I joined this swap as a way to challenge myself and learn from all of you).
