Your piece is beautiful! I don't know how to fix the holes, but hope you can find a way to do it. My mother made two lovely full-size bedspreads, all cotton thread; I have one and my sister has the other. They're in perfect condition except for a musty smell. I would like to wash it, but it weighs a ton -- dry! -- so I can only imagine what it will weigh when wet. I will have to ponder how to go about getting it ready for display. Any ideas?
