Hexy quilt
Here is the quilt top I made with 5 of my Romanian quilting friends+my 3 sisters; even my hubby helped us to finish it.
It's all English paper pieced.
It took us about 3 months from start to finish.
The sphere measures 80'' and it was appliqued onto a hexagon background; the whole top is 100''.
It is my design; I started to quilt it and can't wait to see it finished.
This technique is great for a group quilt - we all loved to work on it.
