A friend and I just completed our local shop hop. We went to 12 different quilt shops - 3 last Friday (she took the day off work) We put on about 180 miles that day. Last Saturday we went to 6 shops here in town. Then today she took the day off again and we drove about 150 miles round trip to go to the last 3 shops. We left by 8:00 in the morning, had lunch at some great restaurants and visited a lot. I bought about 25 yards of fabric and am very happy with what I got. A couple years ago this same friend and I drove to Denver and shop hopped all the way. Spent 5 days going to quilt shops and bead shops, went to the Quilt Museum in Golden. We had a blast!!
