I also gave a quilt to a family when the Father passed on instead of flowers. I cross stitched a heartfelt message on the back on the quilt. The quilt that I presented to them was hand pieced and hand quilted by me. I wanted to give them something very special to keep and pass down through the years because he was like a second Father to me. Tears did flow when I gave them the quilt.......
