Yeah housework does seem to get in the way of enjoyment if you don't do it you feel quilty and if you do your upset you can't do what you want. I try to do housework in the am and then quit by 1pm and then to quilt until 4pm or so to start getting dinner done or if I'm smart and can put it in the crock pot in the am I can sew longer a maid would be nice but DH says I would clean before she came so why bother and I know he's right.
