San Antonio, TX is a far piece from Midland, Texas. About a long day's drive. It was a short 75 miles (about) from Corpus Christi, Tx on the Gulf Coast. Great places to visit. Lots of Latinos and Mexican over running the place and Spanish and Tex-Mex spoken there. San Antonio was having an influx of over 3000 incoming people to live there every day...with half not knowing how to speak English.. Tex-Mex is an area language around El Paso area. It took a long driving day to get from Corpus Christi to the Fort Worth and Texas - Okaloma border...about 14-16 hours of driving.
