That's why I usually stay up until about 2:00 a.m. sewing. LOL
Our guild usually books a room at one of the public libraries in our area (there are 4, so we rotate them) for a Saturday sewing day once every month or two. There may be a particular project to work on (charity quilts, quilts of valor) or it may be a bring your own project day. We have had a couple local instructors who speak at our Tuesday night guild meeting, then have a class the following Saturday. The room is free, and they have tables and chairs. We have to set up and put away, but they allow us to bring snacks and drinks.
Have fun at your retreat.
