The letters are also a fabric - just cut them apart, make a word and sew back together! I bought the fabric on eBay. The border fabric was there also, but too expensive. So I googled 'scrabble fabric' and found it on Fabric.com, I believe.
Just showed the quilt to my husband & he commented on the scrabble fabric & said to google it. Then I scrollrd down & wallah, there was the answer.
