If you are sending them all over the U.S. I am guessing there are a number of blocks. I don't think I would want to buy enough Pigma pens for everyone to have one! Geli Pens are also permanent. They used to sell them at Michael's, but I haven't seen them lately. Use only the colors with out glitter, or gold. The pens hold up. Iron after signing. I have some quilt labels which I have used for many years and they still look good. The truth is other gel pens work well too. However, I would only take a chance if you audition the pen then iron it, and then wash a few times. These pens (geli-I think by Marvy) were only $1.00 each.

Reason: additional info: the gel pens are wonderful to write on the quilts. Just iron some freezer paper on the back.
