It is hand quilted because it was too big to handle in my work space and under my domestic sewing machine. I am not a hand quilter but I had no choice so I did my best. Could do better comes to mind!

The last one I made was almost the same colour, the floral fabric is different. The request was to make one similar.
I handed it over this afternoon and the couple were thrilled. Phew what a relief, and what a lovely feeling I got when they were so pleased with it. It's not perfect but................................
Wow! is right that is beautiful. My dear you must be a glutton for punishment, lol. to make four of these things. I have only made one, and it was by the Rings that Bind pattern by Cheryl Phillips, and that was enough for me. Her pattern wasn't that difficult, and I only made it because my daughter had asked for one for several years. I don't plan to ever make another one, but then I normally don't make more than one quilt with the same design, who knows why, just me. That is lovely, and I would never get one finished if I tried quilting it by hand, I despise hand work to start with, and try to do everything on the machine. You did a beautiful job, and I can definitely see why the couple was thrilled. Congrats. on a great quilt.
