As soon as I post this, I am out the door for early church. When I return, I will start cutting out the 57 pieces for an appliqué block. My goal is to finish this before going to the wellness center for exercise. This afternoon, my goal is to get the starch on the pieces, glue the pieces to the fabric, and hopefully, get a few pieces hand stitched down. When the notice of VQD was posted, I had planned to work on my Mystery Quilt assignment; but I was able to finish that yesterday. VQD is a wonderful incentive to get things completed in quilting.
