Did a small quilt w t shirt squares left over from a motif t shirt quilt. I used a lightweight fleece that I had and no batting or fusibles. Used lots of starch before cutting out the square, used washable glue on the seams before I sewed them, placed the top on the fleece and then top stitched the seams w fancy stitches and fused some double sided circles on the intersections and attached them with an X. Washed it before I gave it away. The fleece worked nicely did not crawl and since this was an experiment, I was pleased. It was a nice soft quilt for a person in a nursing home.
