I agree totally. Also, if you're doing the baby's name, double and triple check the spelling and don't do it until they've signed and turned in the birth certificate. I know someone who encountered an unfortunate pitfall because the parents changed their minds at the last minute.

I have quilted written words into a quilt a few times, and the main downside is that it's mirror writing on the back.

It's nice to see how enthusiastic you are. I'm sure the quilting will be wonderful!
