I have the same table; same issue...I'm 5'2" so it's really a tad high for me to be comfortable. Easiest solution I can come up with is to remove the wheels on the bottom. This does, however, delete some of the versatility of these tables. I honestly can't remember the last time I folded mine down - either or both sides - so I'm seriously considering this myself.
