That's a great idea! As I looked at the pictures I thought you could also take a picture of each step and print them out ( at a low resolution) just like on this post. Then you don't have to tie up a stack of blocks that are partway finished.
I thought about that....but thought it would be a waste of paper. I just flip through the unfinished blocks as I am piecing each set of 2-4 of each color. The other fabric pieces for the unfinished ones are pinned to them so they won't get lost. I might even get brave and cut/piece more than one color at a time, now that I have the routine down a bit better.
