Across bay bridge see new pieces, Berkeley, cotton patch, Lafayette, and stone mountain and daughter, Berkeley. If you do go to Berkeley also check out the many sari shops on university ave - not much quilting fabric but stunning silks and slinkies.
We have many great quilt guilds here and top instructors, so I hope you can spend at least a week.
I loved my trips to Australia, and you have superb quilters there. The launceston quilt show got me interested in this addictive hobby!
