I kinda do choose a bit, although I am limited to what I have on hand. You have to place each square, so you might as well do the best you can lol. I don't intend to cut fabric from stash. It's not planned, it's all scraps and I am repeating fabrics.

After I posted, I was thinking ... that I might cut 5 squares every time I touch a fabric, and set them aside, til there are enough sets done for a whole quilt. It'd be a project that could just grow ... til the time was right!
