The taupe Singer is a 306 swing needle. That crinkled finish is the hardest thing to keep clean, though. Definitely worth buying. And it can be treadled, too. Takes cams that are pretty readily available if you look for them.

We had a White head like that, not the same cabinet, that the previous owner left at the house my parents bought. It was an okay machine, but the friction wheel thing added rumble to the sewing process. I sewed on it some. My mother was a Singer fan and she sold the White after a while.

That Brother teal and cream zz, I would love to play with. I've never tried one.
