Default I can't decide. Need some help

I am making a quilt for my brother and his wife. Guess this is what I get for starting with a stash fabric that is about 3 years old, but I need a second complimentary square and cannot find fabric with the correct color shades. So the dilemma is, should I use the same large print for the focus fabric, with different borders, or use the second focus fabric for the alternate squares. I cannot decide. One day I like the blue to bring out the tiny blue branches in the original print, the next I think the combination is too busy.
The light gray will be sashing between square, then there is a 9"wide dark gray print strip between the rows.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
