When I was a kid, (in the 70's and early 80's) my mom would buy boxes of these amazing feed sacks at auction sales. No one else bid on them, so she would get them for a couple of dollars. She would open them up, hem them and we used them as dish towels. I always thought it was fun to have such colorful dishtowels. Now I wish I had a couple of boxes for my quilting! How fun to find a ready made project.
