Keep in mind that your LAQ is running a business. I'm sure she would rather hear from you now and be aware that she needs to make an effort to accommodate your needs than take a chance on alienating you and losing your business. I would call her and tell her, politely, when you need your quilt. If she tells you she can't have it by then, you may want to consider trying the other quilter you use. It is tricky to deal with this sort of thing once the quilt is give to the LAQ. Generally, it's a better idea to have a pretty clear understanding about the timeline for completion before you leave it to be quilted.
