Speaking of bird seed bags..........with spring here and time to buy flats & flats of flowers, I cut a 50# Sunflower Seed across the bottom and up the side and make a perfect liner for the trunk of my car. When you get it home, you can carefully take it out, hose it off, let it dry and put it right back in the trunk. Much easier that vaccuming the trunk every time. Also, I can see using them to make grocery bags too. They are very durable.
