I believe she said, ( I was thinking ... that I might cut 5 squares every time I touch a fabric, and set them aside, til there are enough sets done for a whole quilt.), meaning 2.5 squares.
I have never bought a jelly roll so I have no idea. Since it is a scrap quilt, you can used some off each roll couldn't you and then some out of your scrap bin also.
