Klue you wondered why my triangle looked small, I have discovered that I had to change the size in Options to read 4.5 x 8 as it is set for the blocks to 4.5 x 4.5.
so anyone who starts their first triangle and finds it coming out small check this out.

double check the the size because i think it should be 5 x 8 finished in the software.
since you have the rulers now it will be easy to check, just print a triangle block and measure it with the triangle ruler.
