Exactly what I was thinking. Look along the left edge ... starting at the bottom and working upward ... the solid grey rectangle has a narrow border along the left edge. Follow that border upwards and you will see the border stops mid-way through the stripe fabric. At that point, the red in the stripe is much more vibrant than the red in the rest of that fabric. OK ... keep going upwards and you'll see the grey block with the border then the stripe fabric repeat identically (just tucked in to the folded over top). Also notice that if it were pieced this way ... there would be a Y seam in there. Somehow the simplicity of the rest of the patter doesn't scream "I think I'll put a Y seam here" let alone to repeat that action in exactly the same place further up the quilt. There are a few other places that look like Y seams too. So yes, I think it's a printed whole cloth. The white blocks might have been appliqued on, but I think those are part of the print as well.

I think the closest you will come to a pattern similar to this is turning twenty.
