I bought a beautiful little FW a few months ago for 205. My husband came in when I was looking at it and said "BID!" so I got it! It has hardly any wear on it..I cleaned and oiled her up and she sews a fine seam! I Use her everyday! I bid on a 401a just before I bid on FW and got it too.
took quite a lot of cleaning, oiling and work to get the 401 sewing but now she is humming along and both are a joy to work on. I think I paid $89. for the 401a.
I am doing some thread painting with the 401a and lots and lots of sewing quilt blocks on my FW!
ebay has auctions that show $150- 600+ hope you get a nice one!
