I think $600 is WAY TOO HIGH! My son picked mine up at Goodwill Store locally -- although it has no case or attachments and no book, the machine is in absolutely pristine condition, sews like a dream. He paid $50 for it -- it still had the original manufacturer's quality control inspection sticker on it! I think I'd look a bit more before I laid down $600. Right now, I couldn't spend $50 for anything. After four years of back pain, I am scheduled to see a neurosurgeon this week -- I may be having back surgery, so I'm probably not going to get to do much sewing or anything else for a while. I would surely like to hope there's something better than surgery, but I think I've just about tried everything. Since I won't have a paycheck while I'm out of work (I've already used up all my sick leave with my back), I am really squeezing my dollars!
