Not really. My husband was a wood worker and he made me things (but has now passed away). Recently 5 ladies I quilt with (various ages) made up a group and decided that we would each make a gift a month and give to one of us( a different person each month). We each have different talents, so I have gotten homemade plum jam from one, another is a master gardener and raises plants and pots them. Another bakes, so there is always a variety of things we can give one another. It is a lot of fun.
