Here's a thought for using scraps that was passed on to us yesterday in class:
A lady made all of her grandchildren a quilt for Christmas. She pieced the backs, and put a bit of everyone's quilts into all of the other backs. When the kids opened them and realized she did this, they all ran around comparing quilts to see where the pieces are from "my" quilt and where "your" quilt piece is in "mine."
Since we are working on quilts for all the nieces/nephews for Christmas, I think we'll be doing this to connect all the brothers/sisters/cousins. I can't wait to post pics of all the finished products.
