Thanks for all of the suggestions! Murphy- I like your idea but can't quite picture it. I've looked at some of the other quilts you've posted and really admire your talent. You mentioned your favorite books are Material Obsession/s - Are those books very difficult patterns or do they have some basics as well?
I also like the wavy design Marti mentioned. I think I will play around in the boarders area...I put a light 3" polka dot boarder around it and it will have a green/turquoise binding. Whatever I do...I know my baby girl g'daughter will love it cause it came from her Nana!
