It rather galls me to pay $12 a yard for fabrics at JoAnns! If I want to pay that, I'll go to a quilt shop!
I've been doing the same thing lately, buying 1/2 yard pieces. It works well for scrappy designs, and I feel by getting more cuts of fabric that I'm actually getting MORE fabric, lol. I have admired your avatar, so just clicked on it and there was your album...silly me, I had never really noticed this feature before. Anyway, there is a big picture of your beautiful avatar quilt and lots more! Your quilts are lovely, and I hope we get to see what you make out of these fabrics. :-)
