Default Handquilting finished on 2 tops

My mother and I have a collaboration, she enjoys handquilting but not piecing while I prefer piecing to quilting. I went home last weekend for her retirement party and was able to get photos of two recently completed quilts.

The first one I assembled the top using some blocks that had been painted and then donated to the church quilt group. The church group did the hand quilting and the quilt was raffled off last weekend. I was not able to get pictures of the entire thing but tried to get a few that showed off the quilting.
The quilting outlined the flowers and the chimneys and cornerstones blocks in the middle.

The second one is a top I made using the pattern "Third weekend in October". This one is probably going to be saved for my niece once she is a little older and out of a crib. The quilting was done freehand, outlining and making stems on each leaf.

I've shown pictures of these before when they were just tops but now they are really finished.
