Yes, we had that rule too. We tried bribing my DD to eat green beans, she ate one and that was it. DS hates navy beans still does to this day, won't allow his wife to cook them, the smell gets to him. I do not care for cooked brocolli or asparagus or sushi, otherwise, I will eat most anything. Just remembered: no boiled fish.
